Knew it, because I saw a yootoober or two advertise it and this is what always happens. If I see an ad for something, it’s a scam, that’s my personal rule. Those coontent creatoors generally don’t do that out of malice, they are just really fucking stupid. Way too retarded to know what is good and what isn’t, and pretty much never know anything about technology. They are also very greedy, and therefore very manipulable. One shillshekel and a corporation can get them to sacrifice their reputations and lose all credibility. Many are also full of pride and have an inability to admit that they fucked up, and that certainly doesn’t help.

This is like NordVPN for findommes that don’t have as many subscribers to extract money from their paypigs, right? A scam for B-tier shills. In a way, I guess it’s not as embarrassing as Raid: Shadow Legends, but it’s also a lot more harmful. Not more harmful than any Amazon crap, though. Kinda difficult to be more evil and destructive than fucking Amazon.

That should be viable, but it’s not. Then the government would show up asking “OY, you got a LOICENSE for that moyt?”, and destroy your business. Or corporations would find some excuse to sue you until your business doesn’t exist anymore, unless you are already rich and corrupt. Or the government would audit it and find some excuse to throw you in jail for some convoluted tax bullshit that they came up with. Everything is so rigged that the first step for getting anything good done will always be beheading all politicians first. I can’t even handle taxes, to me that’s too stressful already, and my solution is to not make any money and to throw my ideas away. The fact that I can’t deal with the bureaucratic hell that they created is precisely the reason why I gave up on life, for the most part.

Mullvad looks good to me. You don’t need an account and you can mail them the money, and that’s pretty great.

Yes, and that is why they’re good. If you’re going to use something that you don’t trust, you better not give them your information, and Mullvad doesn’t ask for any. Meanwhile, your ISP definitely can’t be trusted and they know everything about you and you have no choice, so I think it’s safe to say that using Mullvad is better than not.

I’m not even surprised. Breaches aside, I never considered ExpressVPN any better than Nord. Same sort of guerilla marketing BS, for example. I don’t believe either are trustworthy. Then again, I don’t really trust ANY VPNs, but it seems something like Mullvad is probably safer overall if you must use one that isn’t your own.

They do also have an .onion URL. Still, Mullvad like any other service connected to the internet, it should be seen as untrustworthy.

I dont know, but for ProtonVPN they have a paid version that I assume will pay for the free version the free version doesnt have as many endpoints available and its not as fast, its like a trial “Being correct” is in my opinion, that there is never a free ride and thats correct, ProtonVPN isnt free unless their paid version would pay for your free ride. Hope that makes sense Btw I am not affiliated with this company in any way or form If you think I read too much into your reply so be it, have a nice day

Well, just the fact that it’s shilled at all is enough for me to not trust it, because why the hell would anything good spend that much money on ads? I never see ads for things that I know are good, so to me that seems like it should be common sense. Ads exist to sell you garbage that you wouldn’t want to buy otherwise and are a form of mind control for weak minds, that’s just how the world works. Also, I’m sure that they ask for your personal information (unlike Mullvad), so of course they can’t be trusted. Pretty sure that it’s generally advertised by bigger channels than Express, though, so it’s a more successful scam for A-tier shills with millions of subscribers.

Also, wasn’t notified. The comments are still kinda broken.

It’s impossible for VPN’s to operate without logging your information. They must know what is your IP and to which websites you go to, using which server

unless their paid version would pay for your free ride.

It would make sense if we we didn’t live in a capitalistic world which does not care if it’s ethical or not. it’s only concern is and always has been to make money. Unless it’s a charity or a non-profit organization* * - there are some who claim to be non-profit, but are actually pro-profit

Never understood what VPNs are supposed to bring from a privacy perspective, I have installed 100s of VPN tunnels mainly for Cisco PIX and ASA but other brands as well, VPNs are made to connect to an Intranet, they have never been designed to give you any privacy what so ever, on the contrary I would say its far more easy to control you if you use a VPN than if you are not, there are though couple of usecase scenarious when they come in handy, *.) you live in an oppresive country and cant watch porn or you dont want to show the local ISP that you are religious/gay or whatnot it, could even be illegal like in may Muslim countries, and then there is those that want to leach Pirated material, those are the 2 things mainly when its useful. Sometimes but very seldom does it work to access stuff that is behind a countrys geofence like Local TV Streams, but it might work for Netflix And then we have the constant captchas, no VPNs are Honeypots and the contracts are made hard to break since they often trick you to click on the subscription … avoid all VPNs at all cost, if you absolutely need one, use ProtonVPN its free, thats just my 5cents
